Fireside With Gregory
Please give the recording a moment. It's a slow boot. But I assure you , it will play.
I know it's spring, but bear with me as a post this very winter story.
I like to make up stories for my daughters (the pixies). I made up one story based on the character LoLo Star. I actually Kickstarted that story and made it into a book called Shine So Bright.
This winter, I began taking on the persona of "Gregory." He's an interesting chap, who loves to sit in his garden by the fire. He talks to God, and Tom the Second Acre Badger, and Air Monsters, and likes to go on walks, and enjoys quiet nights by the river, and sits in trees.
One night, Gregory took over and I caught him on audio tape. You can imagine how hard it was to take the tape recording and make it into a digital file. Gregory is not so up with the times. But I can assure you, the sound quality is very good. (I'm also a digital elf.) You can also imagine how hard it is to keep my identity straight. Am I Tim, or am I Gregory. I sometimes don't really know.
You might think "Fireside With Gregory" is just for young people (read: kids) who still have their imaginations still in tact. But that would be a cognitive error. Gregory is for us all. Especially me when I get so bogged down with "adult stuff" that I can't find my way to peace and kindness and wonder and play. You know, all those things God gave us to feel in this world. And feel deeply. And remains sane. And, well, just remain.
So, I hope you enjoy Gregory. You'll be hearing more from him very so, I believe.
Tim (and Gregory)
