Timothy Willard

I was born in Virginia, spent ten shirtless years near Tampa, Florida, moved to Lititz, Pennsylvania, when I was twelve, and would rather call the road home. For the last 15 years, I’ve worked as a ghostwriter, editor, author, novelist, and academic. My first love is poetry. I’m a long-time admirer of the Romantics, Milton, MacDonald, Lewis, and Eliot. My academic work explores aesthetics, theology, literature (Romantics), Norse myth, and Beauty.

I live and work as an independent writer and scholar with The Edges serving as a place where my wife and I, along with some dear friends, can write and curate helpful articles related to family, faith, and culture.

My wife, Christine, and I live with our three daughters, Lyric, Briell, and Zion, along with our beloved Goldendoodle named Cash in the woods of Waxhaw, North Carolina.

This site has received over 3.5 million views serving the community with theological thought from various websites I curate as well as articles I write.
